Duke Nukem Forever

In the game, alien hordes are invading and only Duke can save the world. He arrives with an arsenal of over-the-top weapons, non-stop action, and unprecedented levels of interactivity. Duke can shoot hoops, lift weights, read adult magazines, draw crude messages on whiteboards or ogle the many hot women that occupy his life.

Duke Nuke Forever will be released in North America on June 14th and international stores on June 10th.

Wii

The main reason for this deal comes primarily out of fear that people will stop buying the high priced pre-packaged video games in the future, thus causing companies to broaden their appeal to folks by positioning themselves as a bridge between the television and a wider world of online multimedia.

A PS3 comes with a Blu-ray player, and both the PS3 and Xbox 360 have their own movie stores, which offers the option of watching new films instantly, most in high definition. For now the Wii offers very little in comparison until Nintendo releases a new HD version of the console, so for now Netflix users will not be able to watch the films in high definition. So now it’s just a mater of time to see which company will end up with the best gaming system that offers more than just gaming.

Transformers: War for Cybertron

Transformers: War for Cybertron will feature two distinct storylines: the Autobot campaign tells a story of heroism to save their home planet against overwhelming odds, and the Decepticon campaign tells a story of an unquenchable thirst for power to control the universe.

For the first time in a Transformers title, fans will be able to play the game with their friends through team-based online co-op, or go head to head in a variety of intense, online multiplayer game modes.

The game features a sci-fi art style that introduces fans to the entire living metallic world of Cybertron, as well as all-new visualizations of the iconic Transformers characters in their original Cybertronian forms.

The game is set to be released in stores on June 22nd.

‘Dark Void’ the game is getting close to it’s January release date and Capcom has unveiled a cinematic trailer for it. Fact sheets

PC FACT SHEET

Star Trek®: D-A-C is a fast-paced, top-down space shooter inspired by this summer’s blockbuster motion picture. This pick-up-and-play game allows you and your friends to battle it out online while piloting starships such as the U.S.S. Enterprise™. Star Trek: D-A-C will be available on the PlayStation® Network and Windows PC via Valve’s Steam distribution service on November 12, and updates will be available for Xbox LIVE® Arcade shortly after. Star Trek: D-A-C will also be available for Mac via TransGaming Inc.’s GameTreeOnline.com digital distribution platform in December. Players will enjoy all-new content, including two additional ship classes, the new Survival Mode, additional maps, new pick-ups and more. Choose your side, fire your weapons and boldly go!

KEY FEATURES:

· Arcade-Style Space Combat: Team up with players online to engage in epic space battles

· Enlist in Starfleet or Join the Romulan Empire: Play as one of the rival factions from the “Star Trek” film

· Three Different Game Play Modes:

o Single-Player: Practice against AI bots to become an expert captain

o Online Multiplayer: Twelve players (six per team) compete in intense online battles

o Online Co-Op: Team up with friends to combat in space against AI ships

· Four Different Game Types:

o Survival: In this all-new single-player mode, Starfleet captains have only three lives to blast through waves of enemy ships. When destroyed, enemy ships and drones drop special ability and score pick-ups, and players are challenged to grab as many as they can before their lives run out. Top scores will move players to the top of the leader boards and Starfleet ranks. Players will battle AI controlled Romulan ships and three new ships types exclusive to Survival Mode:

§ Space Pirate: a speedy flyer with the most loot to drop

§ Ramming Drone: an offensive fighter that attacks by crashing into players’ ships kamikaze-style

§ Demolition Drone: A slower, deadlier drone that destroys everything around it when it explodes

The mode also features a points-based pick-up system and two new “super” special pick-ups:

§ Temporal Shift: Everything slows down – except you

§ Fire Everything: Fire all of your weapons without depleting your energy stores

o Team Deathmatch: Teams go head-to-head in a no-mercy, “kill or be killed” fight to the finish. The deadliest team at the end of the time limit will emerge victorious!

o Conquest: Team strategy is key as two opposing teams battle to take over and defend three control points and home base in space. The team that takes over all four – or the most before the time runs out – wins!

o Assault: Teams take turns conquering and then defending a sector of space. While one team defends, the other team attempts to capture four control points and the enemy base. Teams switch sides when time runs out or the base falls. Ultimately, the team that attacked the fastest and defended the longest wins!

· Engage in Stereoscopic 3D Battles:

o NVIDIA 3D Vision Compatibility: Equipped PC players are fully immersed in a stereoscopic deep space experience. Planets, ships, space stations, meteors and asteroids jump off the screen in 3D with incredible realism

· Superior Graphics and NVIDIA PhysX Compatibility:

o Stunning Intergalactic Environments: With visuals inspired by the “Star Trek” film, players fight in a diverse array of outer space settings

o PhysX Effects: Players with an NVIDIA GeForce GPU in their PC can experience dynamic NVIDIA PhysX effects including blazing explosions and reactive debris for truly impressive authenticity

· Five Ship Classes for Each Faction: Each ship provides unique capabilities in combat

o New! Missile Cruiser: The all-new heavy artillery Missile Cruiser has a longer range and more powerful attack than any other ship in the game, but its low rate of fire and slower speed leave it vulnerable to close range attacks, particularly from smaller and faster opponents

o New! Support Frigate: No fleet is complete without the all-new Support Frigate. Its presence can turn the tide in a large-scale conflict, as the Support Frigate’s ability to heal ships gives its teammates the edge. The Support Frigate’s auto-targeted beams are devastating to unshielded targets, such as escape pods, turrets, mines, and asteroids. With its limited offensive capabilities, the Support Frigate must rely on its teammates for protection

o Bomber: The smallest and fastest ship, the Bomber dives in and out of dangerous, close-quarters situations, leaving destruction in its wake. Its speed comes at an expense, however, as it is also the most fragile ship in the game – and its powerful bombs can only be dropped a few times before it must replenish its energy reserves

o Fighter: Fast and agile, the Fighter uses its versatile 360-degree firing ability and small size to harass enemies from a distance. When fully upgraded, the Fighter’s homing missiles give it a powerful punch. Like the Bomber, its weakness lies in its limited durability.

o Flagship: The largest, slowest, but most durable ship in the game, the Flagship fires powerful torpedoes that explode on impact and inflict splash damage. Although its auto-firing phaser helps keep ships with shorter range at bay, its reticule-based targeting system is its most powerful weapon. However, the reticule system can be tricky for novice captains to master, and its large size and slow speed make it a tantalizing target for ships like the new Missile Cruiser

· New Gameplay Enhancements: Updates for the game include:

o Variable AI Difficulty Settings: Choose to play against AI set to easy, medium or difficult

o Customizable Game Settings: Select your own time and kill limits

· Change the Course of Battle With a Variety of Power-Ups & Special Pick-Ups: Gamers now have three all new pickups (for a total of eight) to use in battle. Since Romulans and Starfleet captains fight differently, their pick-ups are designed to echo their styles.

· Romulans play dirty and are brutal in battle, so their pick-ups center around destruction:

o Astral Storm: Emit an energy pulse around you, inflicting damage on all enemies in your vicinity

o Energy Flux: Shoot and speed through the map without draining your energy

o Cloak: As an invisible enemy, you can sneak up on your enemies and deal devastating damage

o Holomine: It might look like a special pick-up, but watch out…

· Starfleet captains emphasize speed, strategy and teamwork, and so do their pick-ups:

o Max Impulse: Boost your speed without depleting your energy

o Invulnerability: Give, but don’t take on any damage

o Wing Man: Create an AI-controlled mirror image of yourself, ready to take down your enemies

o Quantum Torpedo: A seeking missile to take down even the most elusive enemy

Unlock Achievements and Trophies: Some Achievements, such as the Kobayashi Maru, are impossible to unlock….unless you cheat
