The first trailer for the upcoming Max Steel movie is here, you can check out below!
For the better part of this year (2016), Adam West and Burt Ward had been telling fans of the 1960s hit TV series Batman about an upcoming project they have been working on. Rumors abounded as to what it could be, and people guessed anything from cameo appearances to a new television series.
Last week the news hit that the original Batman and Robin (Dynamic Duo) would team up once more for an animated film, also involving Julie Newmar as Catwoman. We now have the official trailer to give us insight into the exciting new project.
The trailer starts off with a regrouping of the Caped Crusader’s most famous villains: the Riddler, the Joker, Penguin and Catwoman. Batman and Robin team up to stop them, chasing them around in the Batmobile before stumbling into trouble.
Earlier this year, West promised the film would be the Batman and Robin we remember from the 1960s TV series.
Based on the trailer, he wasn’t lying. The film looks like it has the same camp as the show, complete with punchy title cards and comically unnecessary labels.
Batman: Return of the Caped Crusader will be available on Digital HD format October 11 and Blu-Ray Combo Pack November 1 2016.
A new trailer for “Rogue One: A Star Wars Story” was revealed during last night’s Olympic Game coverage.
George Lucas (Lucas Films) upcoming film takes place before the events of “Star Wars.” It tells the story of “unlikely heroes who have united to steal plans to the dreaded Death Star,” according to a press release.
The film, which opens in theaters December 16, stars Felicity Jones, Diego Luna, Ben Mendelsohn and more.

I have to say that the trailer is a lot of fun but is also a bit cornball-ish, with a Blair Witch style of shooting and providing plenty of chases through the woods, and the looks of horror on the characters faces are to die for. Yet this has everything you’re looking for in a movie about people hunting trolls.
Plot: Rhoda Williams (Brit Marling), who is a bright young woman accepted into MIT’s astrophysics program, aspires to explore the cosmos. A brilliant composer, John Burroughs (William Mapother), has just reached the pinnacle of his profession and is about to have a second child. On the eve of the discovery of a duplicate Earth, tragedy strikes and the lives of these strangers become irrevocably intertwined.
The film is now scheduled to hit theaters on July 22nd, in limited release.
Here’s Whedon’s statement, posted on Whedonesque last night:
Hi Pumpkins, joss here.
Tomorrow we start shooting (I THINK I’m legally permitted to say that). Day one. That’s right. We’ll be shooting the pivotal death/betrayal/product placement/setting up the sequel/coming out scene, at the following address:
[Marvel Lawyers rush in, take Joss’s keyboard, blowtorch a picture of his family like in “Stormy Monday”, drink his milkshake, leave the seat up, fluff his pillows, violently unfluff his pillows, leave]
Went too far. My bad. Anyhoo, it should be a fun day, followed by the eighty thousand other fun days it will take to finish this. I’ll be checking in from time to time, if there’s news or I crave attention (i.e. am awake) . None of it will be Avengers news — I have some very denty pillows to remind of that — but I may have tidbits. (They’re not about Firefly. I should say that up front, if only to protect Sis Mo from the HATORZ.)
Some of you may be saying, Joss! Why this link, here, now, why, huh, howcum? My friend Allyx turned me on to these guys, and I’ll tell you, they’ve gotten me through this intensely pressurized, preply time. I strongly recommend checking out their other vids — I’ve watched them many many times, and I have a very special place for “Teamwork” in my heart. These guys are the guys. And IS there a better movie title than “Eagles Are Turning People Into Horses”? I thought not.
So wish me luck. DO IT! LUCK! NOW! I’m off to finish some Buffy pages, and then figure out what the movie is about already. I’m pretty sure it’s about the Justice League [Marvel Lawyers re-enter, unspeakability occurs] or possibly something else. I’ll get it. I’ve been looking forward to this. For about 46 years.
So in a nutshell basically anyone who’s ever been in a Marvel movie will be in The Avengers. The film stars Robert Downey Jr, Mark Ruffalo, Scarlett Johansson, Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth, Samuel L. Jackson, Jeremy Renner, and Colbie Smulders. Scripted by Zak Penn ( X2 ) and Whedon himself, at this time not much is known about the plot of the film. What we do know is that most of the filming will take place in New Mexico and will be in 3D, and that Iron Man’s armor will be new. Also we know that the Hulk will be featured using motion capturing. Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige recently stated his desire to create spinoff films of the supporting characters like Hawkeye, Black Widow and Nick Fury following The Avengers film.
Plot: A test pilot (Reynolds) is granted a mystical green ring that bestows him with otherworldly powers, as well as membership into an intergalactic squadron tasked with keeping peace within the universe.
The new movie is directed by Martin Campbell (Casino Royale) and is scheduled to hit 2D and 3D theaters on June 17th.
