Sci-Fi fans have been hard at work making sure that Sci-Fi and Fantasy films are available to all in the format of downloading off the internet. Paramount COO Frederick Huntsberry back in October delivered a presentation about how ‘Star Trek’ had become a hot commodity in piracy circles, adding that illegal file-sharing has become more wide-spread and was not just for the “geeks” any more.

Warner Bros Loses Rights to ‘Watchmen’
Well the fight is over, Warner Bros who has been developing the "Watchmen" movie that was to be released March 6th, 2009 release was challenged by 20th Century Fox who claimed that they own the copyright interest to the property. As a result, the studio had threatened Warners that they would take them to court and would make sure that their "Watchmen" movie never got released.
When fans first heard of this, they promised to boycott all upcoming Fox movies, including "Australia" and "X-Men Origins: Wolverine." Out of fear, Fox has announced that if they are awarded the rights to "Watchmen," they will make sure that the film gets released on time and will work out a settlement with Warners.

Well the second trailer for the upcoming animated Dream Works movie "Monsters vs Aliens" has been released. With a great cast and an a very cool and interesting storyline, the film is really shaping up to be one of the most highly-anticipated movies for 2009.

13 Animated Features Submitted for 2008 Oscar
The official site for the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences has released a list of thirteen films that will compete for the Oscar in the Animated Feature Film category during the 81st Academy Awards. Under the rules for this category, a maximum of 3 films can be nominated in a year in which the field of eligible entries numbers at least 8 but fewer than 16.
‘Three Stooges’ Movie Coming in 2009
The Farrelly Brothers have been talking about their "Three Stooges" movie for a very long time now, but at last MGM has actually set a release date for the retro comedy.
The studio announced Monday (Nov. 3) that casting is underway on the untitled Stooges project, with a November 20, 2009 release date planned for the new incarnations of those slapstick guys Larry, Moe and Curly.
