The Gates Info and Pilot Promo

The Gates

Well there is a new series on the way called “The Gates” which is non-other than a vampire themed show being produced for ABC and we have the promo for it below.

Lizards are in, V premiere lands big ratings

They came, they saw, they conquered primetime.

ABC's "V" premiere was Tuesday's highest-rated program in the adult demo, cracking usual leader CBS' drama-series choke-hold on the evening.

Really? ABC calls Eastwick a “quiet success”

Out of the blue we came across a note over on the Hollywood gossip blog Deadline.com that the ABC series Eastwick has been successful for ABC, which means it will probably not be one of this year’s canceled shows. Now, we don’t have anything against the series; we were just kind of shocked to hear that it was considered a success, since, honestly, we haven’t heard anything at all about it. Here’s what they’re saying, though:

‘King of the Hill’ Canned, But the Show Goes On!

King of the Hill
Well "King of Hill" has been cancelled, but apparently that’s not 100% correct. At least one network has already expressed interest in the show, which was recently canned by Fox.
The suitor is none other than ABC, as "King of the Hill" would make a strong companion to the network’s upcoming animated comedy "The Goode Family," which comes from "King of the Hill" executive producers Mike Judge, John Altschuler and Dave Krinsky.

Pushing Daisies Maybe Cancelled?

Pushing Dasies
Well it seems that flower power at ABC may have withered and died. Pushing Daisies, the critical favorite that turned primetime TV into a upside-down pineapple pie, may be the latest show to be on the chopping block. With the production on the series initial 13-episode order due to end on November 12, the lack of a full-season pickup has Daisies fans and cast members thinking the touch of death is upon them.

‘Heroes’ Still Slipping

Heroes banner

The decline of folks watching "Heroes" continued Monday as the show hit a new ratings low, leaving NBC well behind ABC and CBS for the night.
I have to admit I haven’t been been watching Heroes the first night it airs this season, but I do record the show on the good ole DVR and watch it later in the week when I’m just bored to death. I wasn’t impressed by the Season 3 premier last week at all, they said the show was getting back to it’s roots like it was in Season 1 but I haven’t seen that prevail yet…
