ABC has announced that the highly anticipated sixth and final season of "Lost" will start with a special all-night event on Tuesday, February 2, 2010. To kick things off right a recap special will first catch us all back up (like we need it) from 8:00-9:00 p.m., EST, followed by the long awaited two-hour premiere from 9:00-11:00 p.m. Lost will then air in its regular time period Tuesday nights from 9:00-10:00 p.m., ET beginning the following week, on February 9.

NASA unveils gorgeous new pics of the Andromeda Galaxy
NASA’s Swift satellite has beamed back a new image of Andromeda, our neighboring galaxy, in one of the highest-resolution views of a spiral galaxy ever attained in the ultraviolet, the agency announced this week (click on the image below for the full version).
Frank Miller Talks Sequels for ‘300’ and ‘Sin City’
Even though Frank Miller is busy as hell promoting his upcoming “The Spirit” film which hit’s theaters Dec 25, he took time to talk about the potential sequels to “300” and “Sin City.”
“300” was based on a standalone novel, and Zack Snyder has previously mentioned that he wanted Miller to put together another graphic novel that he would use as a follow-up. “I’ve written a story that’s not a prequel,” Miller revealed. “It’s definitely a further story in the Greco-Persian Wars, and it involves some of the same characters but I’m not sure exactly how far along it’ll get and again, until it’s on a marquee, I don’t believe in it.“

In the movie, a young boy named Goku seeks out upon his grandfather’s dying request to find the great Master Roshi and gather all seven Dragon Balls (of which he has one) in order to prevent Piccolo from succeeding in his desire to use the Dragon Balls to take over the world.
‘Battlestar Galactica’ Final Season Begins January 16
For all you BSG fans out there Mid-January marks the beginning of the end for ” Battlestar Galactica”. Sci Fi Channels award winning show will return with the second half of its fourth and yes final season on Friday, Jan. 16, 2009 at 10 p.m. ET/PT.
So who the hell cares that a new president takes office just fours days later, we just want our fracking BSG back…
