Sci-Fi Celebs in ‘Quantum Quest’

“Quantum Quest,” which is a independently financed 3-D animated film being made in conjunction with none other than NASA, has assembled a great line up of Sci-Fi celebrities for the voices, which will include none other than the two folks to portray Captain Kirk on the big screen William Shatner and Chris Pine. There is also two who have portrayed Darth Vader, James Earl Jones and Hayden Christensen. These four Sci-Fi celebs will topline the voice cast of the $10 million pic.

‘Atlantis Rising’ Comic coming to Big Screen

Atlantis RisingWell with so many comic books being adapted for the big screen it seems everyone is wanting to get on board and have a try at it but at least this time it’s a bit more science fiction. Writer-director Joby Harold (Awake) is in negotians to write the adaptation of the comic book "Atlantis Rising" for DreamWorks. Len Wiseman (Underworld, Live Free or Die Hard) is also attached to direct this apocalyptic science fiction project.

‘Three Stooges’ Movie Coming in 2009

The Farrelly Brothers have been talking about their "Three Stooges" movie for a very long time now, but at last MGM has actually set a release date for the retro comedy.
The studio announced Monday (Nov. 3) that casting is underway on the untitled Stooges project, with a November 20, 2009 release date planned for the new incarnations of those slapstick guys Larry, Moe and Curly.

‘Army of Two’ Video Game Coming to Big Screen

Universal Pictures has acquired screen rights to the Electronic Arts video game “Army of Two.” The studio is serious on this project as they are set to begin production in 2009 and has set Scott Z. Burns “The Bourne Ultimatum” co-writer and ‘The Informant’ to write the script.
