New ‘Judge Dredd’ Movie Concept Art

Judge Dredd concept art
It was reported about three weeks ago that Rebellion and 2000 AD are in development on a new “Judge Dredd” movie, based on the 2000 AD comics and not the 1995 Sylvester Stallone film also named "Judge Dredd."

Thanks to io9 we have three great concept art pictures from the new movie, drawn by Jock, who also worked on “Green Arrow: Year One” and the “Hellblazer” comics. The pictures feature shots of a Judge, Mega-City and Riot Judges.

Frank Miller Talks Sequels for ‘300’ and ‘Sin City’

Frank MillerEven though Frank Miller is busy as hell promoting his upcoming “The Spirit” film which hit’s theaters Dec 25, he took time to talk about the potential sequels to “300” and “Sin City.”

“300” was based on a standalone novel, and Zack Snyder has previously mentioned that he wanted Miller to put together another graphic novel that he would use as a follow-up. “I’ve written a story that’s not a prequel,” Miller revealed. “It’s definitely a further story in the Greco-Persian Wars, and it involves some of the same characters but I’m not sure exactly how far along it’ll get and again, until it’s on a marquee, I don’t believe in it.

The Spirit
Boy is this the week for promoting the upcoming film "The Spirit", first off we get a new trailer which contains a Christmas tone due to the fact that the movie will be released on Christmas. Then we get a new featurette focusing on the women who want to seduce, love or kill the masked crusader. There is Silken Floss (Scarlett Johansson), Sand Saref (Eva Mendes), Lorelei Rox (Jaime King), Plaster of Paris (Paz Vega), Morgenstern (Stana Katic) and Ellen Dolan (Sarah Paulson). And also we get a new poster featuring the title character walking through a city that has other characters on the billboards around him. Check the links out below to view these new items.

‘The Spirit’ New Featurette

Seth Rogen
The folks behind "The Sirit" have been hard at work and have just released a featurette for the upcoming movie, showing lots of great new footage from the movie and also has director Frank Miller himself talking about his solo directorial debut and "The Spirit" creator Will Eisner.

New and Better “The Spirit” Trailer

The SpiritWell I was a bit concerned that "The Spirit" might be terrible after watching those bootleg trailers that came from ComicCon, but this new trailer has some great-looking scenes and very interesting footage. As much as director Frank Miller denies it, the film looks very similar to "Sin City." But will it be of the same quality?
