‘King of the Hill’ Canned, But the Show Goes On!
Well "King of Hill" has been cancelled, but apparently that’s not 100% correct. At least one network has already expressed interest in the show, which was recently canned by Fox.
The suitor is none other than ABC, as "King of the Hill" would make a strong companion to the network’s upcoming animated comedy "The Goode Family," which comes from "King of the Hill" executive producers Mike Judge, John Altschuler and Dave Krinsky.
‘Three Stooges’ Movie Coming in 2009
The Farrelly Brothers have been talking about their "Three Stooges" movie for a very long time now, but at last MGM has actually set a release date for the retro comedy.
The studio announced Monday (Nov. 3) that casting is underway on the untitled Stooges project, with a November 20, 2009 release date planned for the new incarnations of those slapstick guys Larry, Moe and Curly.
Kevin Smith to Helm Sci-Fi Spoof
Well here we go again, yet another spoof movie! Kevin Smith (Clerks, Dogma) is developing a futuristic outer space comedy. Like most spoofs the film will reference other sci-fi movies and revolves around a father-son relationship. Smith has nodded to the genre in his earlier work but has never, let me repeat that NEVER made a sci-fi film in his life…
