Soloman Kane

Awesome ‘Solomon Kane’ Clip

Soloman KaneIf this don’t put some pepper in the gumbo then you need to get your head checked.Today we have the first clip from the upcoming ‘Solomon Kane’ movie, which is based on a character created by none other than Robert E Howard, the legendary writer behind “Conan” and “Red Sonja.” You can check the clip out below.

How wild is Wild Things? Very. But not like you’d think.

Spike Jonze clearly had a different interpretation of Where the Wild Things Are than I did, but I like his better. I just thought it was a short book for kids to learn how to read, and some pictures they’d like of monsters prancing around. I mean, the plot was Max yells at his mom, gets punished, imagines a fantasy land, then goes home and finds out his mom forgives him.

Jonze’s version is about the lessons kids have to learn about their angry instincts. There is a tone of melancholy to even the most wonderful fantasy scenes. And this isn’t like saying Harry Potter is dark because people are trying to kill him but really it’s happy magic. This is really heavy. Playing rough not only leads to others getting hurt, it makes even the wildest anarchist feel bad.

Josh Brolin Rejected ‘Terminator Salvation’ Role

Josh Brolin
Awhile back when McG was still in the process of putting his cast together for the upcoming "Terminator Salvation," he stated that it will be difficult to replace Arnold Schwarzenegger since so many actors in Hollywood have become soft and wimpy. Back in the day, we had the likes of Arnold, Sylvester Stallone, Bruce Willis, Charles Bronson and many others. But which actors are true tough guys today? McG believed that there are only two; Russell Crow and Josh Brolin.

Nolan Discusses ‘Justice League of America’

JLA
"The Dark Knight" director Christopher Nolan talked to the LA Times about the upcoming "Justice League of America," movie which Warner Bros has been delaying but still plans to make. Nolan strongly believes that Batman is absolutely needed in the "JLA" film, but he also thinks that the Batman that he has developed in "Batman Begins" and "The Dark Knight" will not fit into a universe where Superman exists.

According to the information spreading across the internet, Johnny Depp is The Riddler, Philip Seymour Hoffman is The Penguin and Cher/Angelina Jolie is Catwoman. “The Dark Knight” Sequel Filming to Start in February?

Dark Knight
"Batman Begins" was released back in 2005 and "The Dark Knight" was released in 2008. That’s a three year gap between the two movies. Does that mean that the third installment in the franchise will be in theaters in 2011? To answer that question,
not quite! According to Batman-on-Film, we could get the new movie a year earlier, in 2010. The site, citing their sources as being the behind-the-scenes crew on "The Dark Knight," the third installment could go into pre-production as early as February 2009 and then be ready to start shooting during the summer of 2009.
