Fright Night Remake gets Buffy Writer

Fright NightWe knew back in May that DreamWorks was working on a deal with Screen Gems to get the rights to "Fright Night," with the intent to remake the movie. Well we now have some new info and good news that shows that this project is moving ahead as word that "Mad Men" writer/producer Marti Noxon has been hired to write the script. Noxon is no newbie to vampires as she previously written and produced for "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" and "Angel" TV series.

Well the Great Britian magazine Empire had a chance to speak with director Darren Aronofsky (Requiem for a Dream) about the upcoming "Robocop" remake that he will be helming and David Self (Road to Perdition, The Wolf Man) writing. According to Aronofsky, everyone is currently waiting for the script to be finished.

‘Bubba Ho-Tep’ Sequel Gets Ron Perlman

Well over a year ago, Bruce Campbell revealed that he had turned down the role in the sequel to "Bubba Ho-Tep," entitled "Bubba Nosferatu." The reason, Campbell said, had to do with the screenplay by Don Coscarelli and co-scripter Stephen Romano, which features Elvis, both in the past and present, battling a clan of Las Vegas vampires and dealing with Colonel Tom Parker (Paul Giamatti).

Sam Raimi spoke to MTV News about the upcoming "Spider-Man 4" film, revealing all kinds of great information even though he claims that he doesn’t know anything.
