The Halcyon company bought the rights to the Terminator franchise for $25 million two years ago, they went on to make Terminator Salvation. Well as we all know that didn’t work out to well for them, so Halcyon in it’s glories wisdom is now auctioning off the rights and think the price should be more than double what they paid for it, they are basing this off the $60 million that Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles went for.

We all new that there was a fifth Terminator Sequel in the works, well now we have some official news on it. Halcyon executives Derek Anderson and Victor Kubicek are developing the a fifth installment in the “Terminator” franchise. Helmer McG, who directed the upcoming fourth film, “Terminator Salvation,” is working with the Halcyon duo on the latest project.
The announcement was among the news that came out of the Dubai International Film Festival. No decision has been made as to where to film the next “Terminator,” although the Middle East was mentioned as a locale.
