Troll Hunter

I have to say that the trailer is a lot of fun but is also a bit cornball-ish, with a Blair Witch style of shooting and providing plenty of chases through the woods, and the looks of horror on the characters faces are to die for. Yet this has everything you’re looking for in a movie about people hunting trolls.

In the movie, Charlie (Yelchin) is a teen who is convinced that his new neighbor is a vampire, though no one believes him. Farrell will play the vampire, named Jerry, who on the surface appears to be a cool guy but is really preying on the neighborhood.

Mintz-Plasse is playing Evil Ed, Charlie’s friend who feels slighted that Charlie has left his nerdy past behind and thus joins the vampire’s coven.

The new film is directed by Craig Gillespie (Lars and the Real Girl) and is set to hit theaters on August 19th.

Quarantine 2 Terminal

The new sequel is written and directed by John Pogue (“US Marshals” writer), and stars Mercedes Masohn, Josh Cooke, and Bre Blair. It will head straight to DVD/Blu-ray later this year.

Plot: The story starts right after the events of the previous film at LAX, as passengers board a flight to Nashville. When a passenger becomes violently ill with a mysterious rabies-like virus, the plane makes an emergency landing at a large metropolitan airport. Jenny (Masohn), a heroic yet inexperienced flight attendant, takes charge of the safety of her passengers.

Relieved when a swarm of heavily equipped emergency vehicles, police units and the CDC arrive, Jenny and the passengers soon discover that they have been quarantined and are now trapped. Desperate to escape, Jenny enlists the help of one of the surviving passengers, a kindergarten teacher, Henry (Cooke), to devise a plan to survive.

In the remake, he’s a Las Vegas magician whose show revolves around horror-movie imagery. Vincent claims to be a vampire expert, but when the teen turns to him for assistance, he’s less than helpful. Tennant and Mintz-Plasse join Anton Yelchin as Charlie, a teen convinced that his new neighbor (Colin Farrell) is a vampire. Toni Collette is the teen’s disbelieving mom, who falls under the vampire’s spell.

Mintz-Plasse is playing Evil Ed, Yelchin’s friend who feels slighted that Charlie has left his nerdy past behind and thus joins the vampire’s coven.

lindsay lohan

Well we all know that Lindsay Lohan has been cast in Robert Rodriguez’s Machete movie, but to no surprise we have yet to find out any big details about her role. The one thing we do know is that the 22-year-old actress will appear nude, I really hope that is no shock to any of y’all since she will show it all at the drop of a hat.

Hollywood Life reports that Lohan has about ten minutes of screen time, in which she will be shown topless while swimming in a waterfall with Alicia Rachel Marek (Grindhouse), who plays her mother.

This scene sounds exactly like what we have already seen in the Machete trailer from Grindhouse, where two actresses make-out with Danny Trejo (1:38 mark). You can check out the trailer below to see everything for yourself.

Englund - Freddy Krueger

Well those of us who love our SciFi and Horror all know Robert Englund very well from TV and movies like V the original, Galaxy of Terror, The Phantom of the Opera, The Vampyre Wars and the list goes on and on but most everyone knows him as Freddy Krueger from Nightmare on Elm Street. Now that actor Robert Englund has been replaced by Jackie Earle Haley as Freddy Krueger in the A Nightmare on Elm Street reboot, Englund has a bit more time to once again take on other roles and do some special guest appearances on TV series.

Englund who is now age 62 has signed on to appear in a episode of Fox’s hit television series Bones. The plan is to make a slasher-themed episode and have Englund play a creepy custodian at Brennan’s old high school.

The story finds jaded Brennan (Emily Deschanel) planning to skip her high school reunion, until a murder sends her and Booth (David Boreanaz) to the scene to investigate. The episode will air this spring.
