Majel Roddenberry Returns to Voice Computer in ‘Star Trek’

Majel Barrett RoddenberryWell I have to say I didn’t see this coming but it is a good surprise for those of us who liked Star Trek the original TV series, Majel Barrett-Roddenberry will reprise her role as the voice of the starship Enterprise computer in the upcoming JJ Abrams-directed "Star Trek" film. She has voiced the role in four "Star Trek" TV series and three films.

New ‘Star Trek’ Trailer Includes Nimoy

Well it seems Paramount Pictures listened to the fans as they have just released a brand new internet trailer for the upcoming "Star Trek" film, featuring a first look at Leonard Nimoy as the older Spock. The trailer is very close to what we have already seen but in this one they included the Spock that we all know and love. Fans were upset and biting at the seams that the previous trailer excluded Nimoy. So far this trailer has only been seen on the Internet.

New ‘V’ in the Works!

The 1983 miniseries ‘V’ about alien lizards visiting Earth that spawned a second mini series and a short lived regular TV series has been picked up by ABC and Warner Brothers TV is producing it. The new ‘V’ will be a totally new reimaging and not based on the original which was a thinly-veiled allegory of the Holocaust and Nazi Germany. Scott Peters (The 4400) who also wrote the second ‘V’ mini series and the TV series spin off is writing and will be the executive producer of the new version.
