Nolan Discusses ‘Justice League of America’

"The Dark Knight" director Christopher Nolan talked to the LA Times about the upcoming "Justice League of America," movie which Warner Bros has been delaying but still plans to make. Nolan strongly believes that Batman is absolutely needed in the "JLA" film, but he also thinks that the Batman that he has developed in "Batman Begins" and "The Dark Knight" will not fit into a universe where Superman exists.

Several sources have confirmed that while the "Justice League of America" project is on hold, it is still not cancelled and might have a good chance of moving forward next year.
Production took a hit when Australia wouldn’t give the film the necessary tax break, causing director George Miller to start looking for a new place. In addition, fans weren’t too happy with some of the casting choices, which included mostly unknowns like DJ Cotrona as Superman, Megan Gale as Wonder Woman and Armie Hammer as Batman.
