Mark Strong

No, that’s completely wrong. Somebody told me about it this morning; I had never heard it before in my life,” said Campbell. “In fact, we’re in negotiations with Mark Strong (RocknRolla, Sherlock Holmes) to play Sinestro. He’s not only a wonderful actor, but he looks like Sinestro.

Campbell went on to confirm Peter Sarsgaard as villain Hector Hammond and mentioned what other characters we can expect to make an appearance in the movie. “Well, Kilowog will be,” he said. “Tomar-Re is in it. Sinestro is in it. Abin Sur is in it. All the origin people. Carol [Ferris], of course, who will be played by Blake Lively.”

“All the main characters are there, and it’s a complex story. The origin story of Green Lantern is complex, probably one of the most complex, which makes it a challenge to get it right.

Avatar movie

Now, Cameron in a interview with Entertainment Weekly has added that it would just be stupid business not to make a second installment. “It just makes sense to think of it as a two or three film arc, in terms of the business plan,” he said. “The CG plants and trees and creatures and the musculo-skeletal rigging of the main characters — that all takes an enormous amount of time to create. It’d be a waste not to use it again.

He went on to say that in the first Avatar film that parts in it or setup’s for future installments. “I’ve had a storyline in mind from the start — there are even scenes in Avatar that I kept in because they lead to the sequel.

We’re not exactly sure what scenes he is referring to, but according to Cameron, the follow-up will pick up immediately after the end of the first film. “We’ll follow Jake and Neytiri,” he confirmed.

And while Cameron has yet to begin any serious work on the script, Sam Worthington already has some ideas for his character in the sequel. “Jake should have abused his avatar and be fat and unfit and demand Neyteri to get him a beer,” he joked.

The main reason for this deal comes primarily out of fear that people will stop buying the high priced pre-packaged video games in the future, thus causing companies to broaden their appeal to folks by positioning themselves as a bridge between the television and a wider world of online multimedia.

A PS3 comes with a Blu-ray player, and both the PS3 and Xbox 360 have their own movie stores, which offers the option of watching new films instantly, most in high definition. For now the Wii offers very little in comparison until Nintendo releases a new HD version of the console, so for now Netflix users will not be able to watch the films in high definition. So now it’s just a mater of time to see which company will end up with the best gaming system that offers more than just gaming.

jurassic park 4

Well, there is going to be a Jurassic Park 4,” he told Boxoffice magazine. “And it’s going to be unlike anything you’ve seen. It breaks away from the first three — it’s essentially the beginning of the second Jurassic Park trilogy. It’s going to be done in a completely different way. That’s pretty much all I can tell you.

This is a surprise because back in November, Johnson had doubts if the film would ever get off the ground. Here is what he had to say back then: “Why would anybody go back to that island? It was hard enough to figure out the second and third reason for them to go.

So if nobody will be heading to the island, what the hell will this film be about? The rumor is that the script focuses on a government that has trained dinosaurs to carry weapons and use them for battle purposes. If the rumors is true maybe they just need to combine this movie with the Battleship movie which is suppose to have aliens attacking the US Battle Fleet!!

Gostbusters 3

They have delivered a draft,” he said. “We are working our way through another draft… good work is being done and all of us have our fingers crossed. I hope to start shooting it this next year.

When MTV asked if he will be returning to direct the new movie, Reitman replied: “Yes.

In an interview from about two weeks ago, Harold Ramis said that the plan is to begin filming Ghostbusters 3 in the summer and then release it in theater in 2011.

Kat Dennings, who plays Darcy, added: “First day of filming and I’m already staggering around my hotel room shirtless and dazed like a homeless man.

At the premier of  The Book of Eli actor Ray Stevenson (Punisher: War Zone) spoke about the first day on the set of Thor. “It’s the first day of filming today,” he said. “It’s very, very exciting.” Stevenson will play Volstagg, a member of the warriors Three, a trio of Asgardian adventurers consisting of Fandral, Hogun and Volstagg. “I’ve got a huge fat suit,” he said about playing his character.

Speaking of the film, Stevenson added: “It’s definitely the Marvel comic book and the origins of the Norse legends. You know, the existence of Asgard and the nine realms. And it’s more sort of in the high realms of intergalactic space and planets. There’s visits to Earth as well.
