‘Tron’ Casting News and Changes

Garrett Hedlund
This movie what ever the hell it ends up being called has more twist to it that only rivals Britney Spears life! Now it seems that Disney has picked Garrett Hedlund (Troy, Friday Night Lights) to star in “Tron,” the studio’s sequel to the 1982 cult classic, now they are saying instead of "Tron 2" or "Tr2n" they are just going to call it "Tron" which this just eludes me, we already have a "Tron" movie, and this isn’t a remake! Am I just missing some logic here? Whatever the movie is named will be directed by Joseph Kosinski.

‘Gilligan’s Island the Movie gets Michael Cera as Gilligan

Michael CeraSherwood Schwartz, the creator of "The Brady Bunch" and "Gilligan’s Island," has decided to move forward with a big screen version of the 1969 "Gilligan’s Island" sitcom. And Schwartz already has already got actors in mind to play the roles of Ginger and Gilligan.

The legendary producer spoke to TV Guide, revealing that a deal "just happened in the last 48 hours." Adding that he would like to see Michael Cera (Superbad) play Gilligan and Beyonce to play Ginger.

Bruce Boxleitner Returns for New ‘Tron’ Film

Tron
Well it seems that Bruce Boxleitner, who played Alan Bradley and the title character in 1982 Sci-Fi film "Tron," is currently filming a role for the upcoming remake. Boxleitner will join Jeff Bridges and newcomers Olivia Wilde and Beau Garrett. Also now it is being said that the title "TRZ" is out and that the title will actually be "Tron 2.0" which sounds a hell of a lot better to us.

Is Seth Rogen Ready to get in Shape for ‘The Green Hornet’?

Seth Rogen
For those of you that are interested, during a press junket for "Zack and Miri Make a Porno," fat boy Seth Rogen revealed that he’ll be slimming down to play the title role in "The Green Hornet," a superhero movie based on a screenplay by Rogen and Evan Goldberg. "You need to physically believe I can run around and jump over shit and punch people," Rogen told Sci-Fi Wire. "It’s all just to serve the movie. Comic book or not, it’s just a commitment to the movie. I mean, it just works better that I’m a guy who is in better shape."
