Even Superheroes need their mama’s every now and again that includes Superman. Though she has been absent since season 6, Annette O’Toole is returning to Smallville. News is that O’Toole will return as Martha Kent later in the Season 9 episodes, in May. The reunion between Martha and Clark will include an “unexpected surprise” or two.

John Barrowman Confirms New Torchwood Season
Torchwood star John Barrowman confirmed on BBC Radio 2 that he has signed up to return as Capt Jack Harkness for a new season of Torchwood. Barrowman also said that the series would be returning to a 13 instalment episodic format for its fourth season.
Metallo will be back to Smallville
You just can't keep a bad cyborg down as we all will find out on a upcoming Smallville episode. Sources have confirmed that Metallo will be back. Brian Austin Green portrayed the sinister cyborg. As we all know we saw Metallo fall and that Tess had taken his meteorite driven heart for her own sinister plans. There is no word yet on how exactly Metallo will be able to make this miracles return.

‘Smallville’ Star Coming to ‘Heroes’
Well we all had been wondering when we would have a crossover from Smallville to Heroes, well it;s here folks, the struggling NBC drama "Heroes" has tapped John Glover (Lex Luthor’s dad on "Smallville") to play Sylar’s father.
‘Wizard of Oz’ Gets CG-Animated
John Boorman is attached to direct the $25 million, CG-animated pic "The Wonderful Wizard of Oz." The adaptation of L Frank Baum’s original novel will be Boorman’s first toon pic. "OZ" is currently in pre-production and is written by Boorman, Ron Mita and Jim McClain (Robots). It’s scheduled to hit theaters during summer of 2010.
The English-language adaptation maintains the tale’s main characters and settings. Unlike the MGM classic, however, it’s not a musical.
‘Spider-Man 4’, Will Villain be The Lizard?
Sam Raimi spoke to MTV News about the upcoming "Spider-Man 4" film, revealing all kinds of great information even though he claims that he doesn’t know anything. The one thing he knows for sure is that he would love to return to helm. "I’m really excited about Spider-Man, and I’m hoping to direct it," he said. "I don’t have a script yet, but production would start probably by March of 2010, I’m guessing.
